Shipping & Returns

We will only ship to locations within Canada. This is because we provide food products which can't be shipped across borders.

Canada Post and Alternatives
Most orders are shipped by Canada Post unless Canada Post can't service the order because of constraints or location. If you are in a remote location such as a “fly in” post please make shipping arrangements and contact us so that we can co-operate with your special arrangements.

Shipping Options
Under regular circumstances, you have 6 shipping options. For smaller orders the least expensive option is to pay for per item service. For larger orders your best choice will be to pick a flat rate.
The six shipping options are:

  3. If you choose either of these you will receive your order within 15 days.

  4. Express Per Item Shipping:
  5. Express Flat Rate Shipping:

  6. You will receive your order within 10 days.

  7. Priority Per Item Shipping:
  8. Priority Flat Rate Shipping

  9. You will receive your order within 5 days.

Risk of Loss
All items purchased from Grub 'n' Gear are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This basically means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier.

In the event of loss in transit we will do all we can to assist you in locating your item(s).


Food Items
We have a no return, no refund policy on food items unless they were damaged in shipping from Grub 'n' Gear to your mailing address. If you have the shipper attest to the fact that the damage was done in transit to your mailing address we will replace or refund you the damaged item or items. Replacements will be done as reasonably fast as possible.

Non-Food Items
We have a 60 day return policy on non-food items that have failed within that time period under normal circumstances and normal use.

The item must be returned to Grub 'n' Gear for our examination along with a brief explanation as to the conditions it was used under. We understand that extreme trip conditions can have a significant impact on a piece of equipment. We will take this into consideration when judging the state of a returned item.

We reserve the right to repair the item if it can be repaired. We sell quality gear and understand that when you have purchased an item it is with certain expectations and you will not be satisfied with a temporary, quick fix. Repairs will only take place if the item can be restored to perform as it was meant to perform for the time it could resonable be expected to perform.

If the item clearly failed under reasonably, normal circumstances and use we will replace that item or give you a full refund.

Should the item be repaired or replaced we will ship it to you at our expense.

Mislabelled Items or Inaccurate Descriptions
Grub 'n' Gear endeavours to accurately label and describe its products. In the event that an item has not been accurately described or has been mislabelled we will replace or refund the item at your discretion.
