I do not have a date set for this trip but I do have most of the trip plan created. A 30-day paddle from Fort Providence to Inuvik on Canada's longest river. It would likely take place July 1- July 30 of whatever year... (I am tentatively planning for 2014).
My background: I graduated from the Outdoor Recreation program at Lakehead University (Thunder Bay, ON) in '01. I have Worked at a Canoe-trip Outfitter as the Food Outfitter and then as the Outfitting Coordinator in Temagami Ontario for four years. I have ORCA Trip Leader certification and have been certified (would re-certify for the trip) as a Wilderness First Responder. Canoe tripping is one of my passions.
