Fruit and Nuts Granola Bars
While you're burning energy along the trail often your need a boost. Granola bars are just the thing. Grab a few of these each morning a put them in your belt pouch or pack pocket where they are handy along the way.

This bar contained oats, crisp rice, raisins, almond, peanuts and sunflower seeds. It is very good, with a nice combination of flavors that is not too sweet. The bar is solid but not too dense, which makes it great for packing. It holds up and doesn't become a squashed mess after a couple of days.sweet but not too sweet.

One pouch holds two bars for a total of 140 calories and 35 grams. Plan on at least one pouch per person per day to go along with all your other snacks.
