Description:
One of my personal favorites, Cream of Leek Soup. This is as good as home made.
Portions:
2 per pack when you are in the outdoors. ( The package says 4, but this ain't no tea party. )
Preparation:
- In a large saucepan, whisk soup mix with 3 cups (750 mL) cold water and 1 cup (250 mL) milk. Bring to a boil over moderately high heat, whisking constantly.
- Reduce heat, cover partially and simmer gently 5 minutes, whisking occasionally.
Ingredients:
Dried vegetables (onions, potatoes, leeks), corn starch, wheat flour, hydrogenated soybean oil, modified milk ingredients, corn syrup solids, salt, monosodium glutamate, hydrolyzed corn protein, guar gum, leek flavour, potassium phosphate, sodium silicoaluminate, spice, canola oil, colour and sulphites.
Note:
Don't mess it up by mixing it in hot water. It gets all lumpy. And don't forget to bring the powdered milk that you add to this soup.
