Cream of Asparagus Soup
This is a creamy soup that is very rich and flavourful. It is a great way to start your dinner.

One pouch makes two generous portions.

  1. In a large saucepan, whisk soup mix with 3 cups (750 mL) cold water and 1 cup (250 mL) milk. Bring to a boil over moderately high heat, whisking constantly.
  2. Reduce heat, cover partially and simmer gently 5 minutes, whisking occasionally.

Corn starch, wheat flour, corn syrup solids, modified milk ingredients, dried vegetables (asparagus, onions, spinach), salt, hydrogenated soybean oil, monosodium glutamate, canola oil, guar gum, natural flavours, citric acid, potassium phosphate, sodium silicoaluminate, spices, disodium guanylate, disodium inosinate, autolyzed yeast extract and sulphites.

Make sure you mix it into cold water or you get a lumpy mess. Also, don't forget to pack some powdered milk to mix into this soup.
